A quick list of my favorite places to eat in, and around, Seattle
Maltby Cafe// My heart and soul. Hands down my favorite brunch spot now and forever. I highly recommend their french toast with creme fraiche, however EVERYTHING on their menu is delicious.
Portage Bay Cafe// This is a must for breakfast or brunch in Seattle. Their bananas foster french toast is out of this world, crazy good! If you're looking for something more savory try their Mexican inspired dish, Migas. It will not disappoint.
Oddfellows// The perfect place to grab a coffee and scone and enjoy a quiet Sunday morning.
Healeo// The most amazing healthy smoothies and acai bowls in Seattle.
Paseos Caribbean Restaurant// For the best sandwich you will EVER eat. Order the #2 and you're life will never be the same.
Dick's// You haven't truly experienced the rain city until you find yourself at one of their drive-ins. To do it right you have to order it all: burger, fries, and shake.
Din Tai Fung// I have yet to go here and there not be AT LEAST a 30-45 minute wait. Luckily, there are plenty of shops within University Village to pass the time, and it won't be long before you'll be experiencing dumplings, fried rice, and green beans that are to die for.
Azul// My favorite Mexican restaurant, serving the most amazing chips and salsa, and let's just take a moment of silence for their carne asada...
Cactus// Another one of my top Mexican restaurants. Their giant chicken burrito is a game changer (for some odd reason I can never find it on their menu so make sure you ask your waitress about it!)
Real Mexican Grill// Behold my most prized hidden gem. The chorizo breakfast burrito...people, let me tell you... is the best thing you will ever eat. EVER. I often imagine myself moving to another country after I graduate but then when I think of this place... when I think of this breakfast burrito... I know I could never be without it. I would spend the rest of my life waiting in line for that breakfast burrito to once again meet my lips. If that's not love, I don't know what is.
Hello Robin Bakery// What's better than Seattle's famous Molly Moons ice-cream smashed in-between two freshly baked Hello Robin cookies?! You've hit the jackpot if you arrive right when they pull them out of the oven!
Hot Cakes// Whether you're on a date, catching up with some friends, or just craving a late night indulgence, this is the place to cure any sweet tooth. The line is out the door almost any night of the week, which goes to show just how insanely yummy their molten lava cakes really are.
